Drones
The drone project was a student driven project where our physics teacher bought us drone kits and taught us how to assemble our nano drones. Once these nano drones were assembled we began to learn different formulas that had to do with Yaw, Pitch and Roll that showed us how much of each pf those to put in so that our drone moved around in a specific movement. Then came the hard part... going outside and getting to actually fly our drones which was a very difficult experience, we had many times where our group member got hit in the face with our nano drone... ouch! but other than getting hit in the face multiple times it was hard to maneuver our drone because of how small it was, and it got lost in the trees and bushes more than once so it was very hard to find. Now, the fun part was when we began our drone mission, what our drone mission was, was trying to get from point A to Point B and at the moment while we were planing it, it did not seem too hard but once we got out on the field it became one of the hardest things to figure out how to do, so many hours were spent trying to accomplish our mission.
The concepts that we learned for this project were force, velocity, distance, and gravity. For most part of the project we learned a lot about the history behind aviation and how aviation has had an impact on the world. We also learned about how the weight of the plane affects the take off because of how much force you have to apply. One we learned about the physics of drones we began to learn about how drones are making a big impact of our society with amazon planing on delivering packages with drones, how people feel that their privacy is being invaded with the flight of drones, and all the new laws about drones. We had socratic seminars about what our were about drones and why people my or may be scared of them becoming a big part of our society. We had many guest speakers that were in pervious wars and people that are currently serving, we also got the chance to work with a company that is trying to produce a drone flying contest for high school students, which in my opinion I feel is amazing because they're inspiration for this was that high school students are great at so many things when they put their minds to it, so they are seeing these kids to their full potential and encouraging them to try their hardest.

This project was most definitely unforgettable I have learned so many lessons like, always working with your friends maybe fun but sometimes it's not the best decision, I also learned not to fly very small drones close to peoples faces because it is incredibly dangerous no matter how funny it maybe, and most importantly I learned how to fly a drone which I never thought I would be able to tell someone but now I can and I am incredibly luck to be able to say that. Something I would change about this project would be making our drone mission less difficult because it took us such a long time to get our drone to move from one hula hoop to another and I really wish we hadn't spent so much time on that.
