This internship has me excited to work alongside kids, I love working with kids and getting to talk to them, they always have something crazy to share which makes me super excited to get to work with them for an entire month. I hope to learn more about how to deal with the unexpectedness children bring along with them, never knowing whats going to happen next will really help prepare me for the unexpectedness that filming movies brings along with them.

First day jitters! I was so excited but as well super nervous about what I would do and how different it would all be from "behind the scenes" rather than being a student. This morning we had to come in at 7:00am so that we could meet our mentors as well as learn the rules we had to go by which were, no playing at lunch with the students, using different restrooms, and how we can interact with them. This day I learned that as we get older we always forget what it's like to be in those classrooms and let me tell you it's crazy!

The students were writing mystery stories about a secret passage way at school, and Joyce was doing a very good job at explaining every little detail in her writing.
