Scientific/Creative Process
The scientific and creative consisted of a lot of observation, looking for as many details as possible and finding many shapes of different sizes. We did all of this by using a framing device to allow us to focus on only one spot while we were observing also by using the elements of at to allow us to be descriptive with our observations. The elements of art were a huge part of the scientific/creative process, it allowed us to see what was present in our observations and what we needed to add to our drawings, and descriptions. In our drawings we had to have line, shape, value, form and texture for it to be a successful drawing. Same thing for our descriptions except we had to write down words that described what it was saw that had to do with either the texture of the object or the color, the shape it had so on and so forth.
What did you learn about the scientific process through the creative process?
I learned that they are both really similar in the way that it is all about detail, but they are also different because one of them you are creating an art piece for, you have more power over what you want to do rather than with the scientific process you kind of have to stay within specific guidelines.
What challenges did you encounter in creating your best work? How did you overcome these?
Some of the challenges I encountered in order to create my best work was turning it in on time or turning in at all, what caused this was me not being able to manage my time and being able to decide what was more important. I haven't fully overcome this but I am starting to manage my time better to be able to create quality work and turn it in on time.
What are you most proud of in creating your best work?
I am really proud of the quality I can create when I work my hardest which allows me to crate my best work. I am able to create amazing work when I put in so much time into it and when I am focused.
